Preloved Emporium

"The Wolverhampton Methodist Circuit is working in partnership with The City of Wolverhampton Council's Financial Wellbeing team and The Good Shepherd Relief in Need charity to support people living in crisis and build community resilience for the future.  We primarily gift preloved furniture and household items to those in our community who are living in crisis and sell items at affordable prices within our Preloved Emporium, eBay shop and vinted shop to cover our costs to enable this service to continue.  We also have a WhatsApp Marketplace group.

The Preloved Emporium is based at East Park Methodist buildings, Brooklands Parade, Wolverhampton WV1 2ND. Three little words: ///knots.formal.rarely

Opening Times: 10-2pm Monday to Thursday, with ambitions to open seven days a week.

We accept donations of good quality preloved furniture and household items.  If you have any queries please email hello@goodshepherdreliefinneed.co.uk or telephone 07935859613.

When visiting our shop, please join us for light refreshments* in our Empty Chair warm safe space.  There are regular drop-in sessions for further advice and guidance to support people escape the crisis trap.

We are always looking for volunteers in retail, hospitality, recycling/upcycling or simply providing a listening ear.  We can offer real work experience within the volunteer sector and create opportunities for people to gain meaningful employment.

We promote and raise awareness of recycling and upcycling items to carry out our charitable aims and prevent items going unnecessarily to landfill.  There will be regular workshops in repair and upcycling furniture and other household items within the East Park Methodist building.

*There is no charge for light refreshments and good conversation.  If you want to donate to ensure we can continue with offering free hospitality, there will be a donation box in the warm safe space or donate online at http://www.buymeacoffee.com/edwardbrid5 "
