Methodist Women in Britain

MWiB is part of the Methodist Church whose aim is to encourage, enable and equip people throughout the world for the work of God. 

 

There is a Connexional President and committee comprising of District Officers and each circuit has a committee. The circuit committee arranges a yearly programme of meetings in various churches in the circuit. 

 

Meetings are stimulating and thought provoking. Speakers who have been abroad tell of their experiences and keep us in touch with the work of God's kingdom in so many different ways. 

 

The Easter offering service is prepared by the MWiB on behalf of the World Mission Fund. This act of worship enables the Methodist church in Britain and Ireland to give to the work of the 65 partner churches overseas. 

 

Offerings received at our circuit meetings goes to the work of the world church.
